The Kia EV6 Becomes First Korean Automobile
to Win European Car of the Year

The Kia EV6 has been named the 2022 European Car of the Year, the very first Korean automobile to ever win the prestigious award.
This achievement holds special significance as it reflects Kia's full brand transformation following the announcement of its new name and logo.
A Prestigious Award with
Strict Standards

Established in 1964, the European Car of the Year is one of the most respected honors in the automotive industry. It goes beyond evaluating performance, taking into account design, safety, efficiency, innovation, and sustainability.
Only vehicles that have sold more than 5,000 units across at least five European countries are eligible, making the award highly prestigious and competitive.
The 2022 jury consisted of 61 automotive journalists from 23 European countries. The EV6 secured the top honor with a total of 279 points, finishing 14 points ahead of its closest finalist.
EV6: Spacious,
Fast-Charging, and Innovative

Built on Kia's Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV6 offers exceptional interior space and advanced technology. It delivers up to 528km of driving range (WLTP standard) and supports 800V ultra-fast charging, enabling a 10% to 80% charge in 18 minutes.
The EV6 also comes equipped with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, enabling it to supply power externally and positioning it as more than just a mode of transportation.
