Red Dot Design Award:
Setting a New Standard
At the Red Dot Design Award, the EV9 was named Best of the Best in the Cars and Motorcycles category. Organized by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany, the award highlights design innovation and functionality.
The EV9 was recognized for setting a new standard in large SUV design. Following EV6's victory in 2022, this recognition further demonstrates Kia's consistent design capability.
IDEA: Sustainability and
Mobility Vision
The EV9 also received a Gold Award in the Automotive & Transportation category at the IDEA, hosted by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA).
The recognition reflects the EV9's innovative design, use of sustainable materials, and practical functionality, further illustrating Kia's role in setting new benchmarks in EV design.
iF Design Award:
Future-Oriented Design and Spaciousness
The iF Design Award honored the EV9 with a Gold Award in the Automotive category, which is awarded to only 75 designs out of more than 10,000 entries worldwide.
The jury noted the EV9's Digital Tiger Face, Pattern Lighting Grille, and expansive, versatile interior, describing it as "an innovative SUV that goes beyond the boundaries of the segment."
