GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ Title: 693.38 km on a Single Charge
The PV5 Cargo achieved 693.38 km on a single charge while carrying its maximum payload, officially earning the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for “the greatest distance travelled by a light-duty battery-powered electric van with maximum payload on a single charge.”
The verified run took place on September 30, 2025, on public roads north of Frankfurt under real-world driving conditions, with GPS tracking and in-cabin camera documentation.
2026 International Van of the Year (IVOTY)
The PV5 was unanimously selected by 26 commercial-vehicle journalists as the 2026 IVOTY winner.
It is the first Korean vehicle and Asia’s first electric van to receive this honor, recognized for innovation, operational efficiency, safety and environmental performance.

2025 Euro NCAP Commercial Van Safety: Five-Star Rating
The PV5 Cargo also earned the maximum five-star(★★★★★) rating in the 2025 Euro NCAP Commercial Van Safety assessment, with strong results in occupant protection, crash avoidance and post-crash safety.
Euro NCAP also noted that the PV5 Cargo earned strong evaluations for its comprehensive suite of key safety assistance features, including a driver monitoring system, seatbelt reminders, and Intelligent Speed Assist, as well as its capability to help prevent and mitigate a wide range of accident scenarios.
