At Milan Design Week 2024,
Kia Design chose not to position itself
as an artist,
but rather to become
a vessel for creativity.
- By becoming an entry point and passage connecting the worlds
- of artists, Kia Design opened a space where diverse
- voices flow, meet, and naturally intersect.
- Rather than simply juxtaposing opposing concepts,
- the exhibition captures the process through which different elements
- meet, blend, and collide, ultimately finding their own
- balance.
- This space of coexistence, created together by performers, artists,
- and creators, clearly demonstrates Kia Design’s philosophy

Intersections Beyond Boundaries, The Moment Where Diverse Perspectives Intersect and Expand
In 2024, at its second Milan Design Week, Kia Design presented an exhibition focused on “intersections” where diverse elements meet, grounded in the three creative cultural attributes of its evolved design philosophy, “OPPOSITES UNITED.”
"OPPOSITES UNITED: Intersections Beyond Boundaries" builds upon the creative community Kia has cultivated, translating the sensorial flow that emerges when diverse perspectives and media converge into a unified experience.
The exhibition is designed so that installations, performances, sound, and digital art are organically interconnected, forming a singular scene. Each program moves between collision and harmony, inviting contemplation. As these moments accumulate in layers, the exhibition captures the process through which new creative fusion emerges at the intersection of opposing forces.
