How Is an EV Different from an Internal Combustion Engine Vehicle?

Kia EVs are built on E-GMP, a dedicated EV platform designed around batteries and motors rather than an engine. A wide, low-mounted battery lowers the center of gravity for stable handling in corners and at high speeds, while a flat floor without a center tunnel creates a more spacious, comfortable interior within the same footprint.

How Long Does Charging Take, and How Far Can a Kia EV Go?

Kia EVs are designed for fast charging and long range. The EV9 (99.8 kWh battery variant) supports 800V ultra-fast charging, going from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes with a compatible 350 kW DC fast charger, while the EV3 offers up to 605 km on a single charge (WLTP). Actual charging time and range may vary depending on vehicle specification, battery condition, and driving and charging conditions.

Can an EV Battery Be Used for More Than Driving?

Yes. With V2L (Vehicle-to-Load), the power stored in an EV battery can be supplied to external electronic devices. Whether you are camping, enjoying outdoor activities, or need an external power source in other situations, your EV becomes a portable power supply, extending its use beyond driving into everyday life.

SUMMARY

FAQ
